CmF hosted the second convocation on 13th of September, 2009 of its
students for the six month certificate course on microFinance Development
and Management.
18 students from various parts of the state were enrolled in the batch and
each of them is being placed in the development sector throughout
Rajasthan.
A total of 13 organizations participated in the placement process and the
major recruiters this year saw stalwarts like IBTADA, PROGRESS, and CmF.
It also included MFIs like Mitr and BASIX. The average package offered
this year was Rs. 6000 per month.
The chief guest for the day was Prof. K B Kothari, Managing Trustee,
Pratham, Rajasthan. The guest of honor for the day was Dr. Anita Mathur, a
consultant who specializes in trainings for women and is associated with
the HUNGER Project.
On academic front, the average percent scored by the students was 65% and
the best student award went to Tejendar Jatoliya who is from Ajmer.
With this success we hope that the new batch which will commence from the
month of February, 2010 will have even more students and this time beyond
the state boundaries.
