Malika Srivastava

Executive Director


Malika is the Executive Director of the Centre for microFinance (CmF). She has been working with the CmF since 2007 on behalf of the Tata Trusts in various capacities and specializes in Community Based Microfinance & Rural Livelihoods. Malika holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). She holds a B.Tech. in the Dairy Technology. Before joining the CmF in 2007, she has worked for around 2 years in Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana state) to promote the farmers’ cooperatives. She has been the Executive Director of CmF since November 2015.

Kumar Ranjan Parhi

General Manager


Kumar has been working with CmF since 2009 and leads Livelihoods, mF, and WASH portfolios as a General Manager. He has PG in Agriculture Science from OUAT Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He has 18+ years of experience in development sectors. He has led a multi-thematic integrated project titled “Transformation Initiative” in selected tribal blocks of South Rajasthan through a host of interventions in community-led microFinance, market-level Livelihoods, along with Education, WASH and Skilling. Prior to joining CmF, he worked in PRADAN (Professional Assistance for Development Action) during 2003-2009.

Vijay Singh

General Manager


Vijay is associated with CmF since 2015 and leads Education & Nutrition portfolios and Tata Trusts’ Education projects in the state of Rajasthan. He has 18+ years of experience in the development sector especially implementation of programs related to elementary education. He has worked with Room to Read India, Azim Premji Foundation and Vidya Bhawan Society.

Dilip Kumar Verma

Head - Accounts & Finance

Dilip has been working with CmF since 2008. He has done his master’s in commerce and managing the financial systems of CmF. He has also worked with Morarka Foundation. He has 25+ years of hands on experience in maintaining Accounts.

Program Head – Education

Vineet is associated with CmF since 2016 under Education theme as Block Lead - Education. He holds the degree in Post-Graduation in Statistics from Rajasthan University. He has more than 20 years of experience in Education sector. He has worked at both grassroots and policy level in two most complex states Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. He has also been exposed to educational interventions and innovations across India. Technical supports to government and development of innovative models have been at the core of all the assignments he has undertaken. Earlier, he had worked with Digantar, Care International, Rajeev Gandhi Foundation and Bodh Shiksha Samiti (Deputed at RSCERT).

Proshanta Mondal

Program Head – Livelihoods

Proshanta is B.Sc. in Zoology (H), MA in Rural Development from Visva Bharati Central University, West Bengal graduate. He has led MPOWER project in CmF since 2016 as Anchor - Institution Building. He has more than 14 years of rich experience in promoting community institution and livelihoods. He has 5 years’ experience to work with tribal community of Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. He has worked with various reputed organizations such as Udyogini, IBTADA and Pravah. His expertise is in Community institutions building, microfinance, NRM and livelihood promotions.

Pankaj Papnoi

Program Head - WASH


Pankaj is from Uttarakhand and has completed his B.Tech in Agricultural Engineer in year 2007 from G B Pant University, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand). In his previous engagements with different organizations in Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand he has worked extensively on community institutions based microfinance, livelihoods and water interventions. He has earlier worked with SRIJAN, Himmotthan Society and ENV DAS India.

Dr. Mehul M. Mehta

Program Head - Nutrition


Dr. Mehulbhai Mukundrai Mehta is Bachelor in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery from Bhavnagar University, Gujarat. He has more than 15 years of Public health as well as Clinical experience. He has worked with Ernst & Young (E&Y) in Gujarat to implement e-VIN Project in entire state. He had also worked under NHM at District as well as at PHC level for 8 years in Gujarat.

Dileep Kumar Sharma
Program Officer - Education

Dilip holds the degree in B.Sc. and MSW with rich experience of 15 Years. He is associated with CmF and currently holding the Team Lead- Libraries (State Partnership) intervention. Earlier, he had been associated with the organizations like Bharti Foundation, RGAVP, Aajeevika Bureau Trust as Programme Officer).

Abhay Pratap Singh

Program Officer - Livelihoods

Abhay Pratap Singh completed his MBA in rural development from G,B, Pant Social Science Institute. He has total 10 years of experience during this he worked with SRIJAN & AKRSP-I on agri based productivity and profitability enhancement programs and promotion of Farmers producer organizations. He is associated with CmF since August 2016 and working on livelihood and marketing initiatives.

Ganpat Singh Kumpawat

Team Lead - WASH & Livelihoods


Ganpat is B.A from JNVU Jodhpur, MSW from Allahabad Deemed University with Total Experience of 15 years. He has worked with Jal Bhagirathi foundation as Project Officer. He is working with CmF in Sirohi since 2016. He is supporting CmF in Planning and implementation of the Livelihood project and facilitating development of Behavioral Change Communication (BCC) strategy to bring change in community practices for adopting safe sanitation and hygienic practices.

Narendra Kumar Gurjar

Lead - M&E


Narendra holds a degree in MSW and was the student of 2nd batch of CmFRL (Certificate course in microfinance and Rural Livelihoods organized and conducted by CmF). He joined the organization in Year 2009. Initially he was involved in the SHG promotion and SHG MIS Software (Sakh Darpan) development and provides handholding support at grassroots level. His areas of interest are Promotion of SHG, Cluster and Community led Federations, Capacity Building of SHG members and SHG Book keepers (SHG Accounting) etc. He loves his work at CmF and currently supporting SRLM in Promoting Model CLF under NRETP partnership programme.

Chiranjeev Singh

RaoLead - M&E


Chidranjeev holds a B.E in Computer Science and PGDRM. He has a total of 10 years’ experience and his major engagement has been in Monitoring & Evaluation with a focus on software development for MIS and program monitoring - right from designing, customizing excels and development with vendors, trainings and rolling of data flow systems through software and managing data. During these engagements he has gathered a reasonable experience of programmatic knowledge (indicators, activities, LFA of key themes implemented by my organization, CmF - livelihoods, WASH, education, nutrition) and translating the same into software based monitoring and program management tools.

Sawant Ram is from rural background who has more than 22 years of experience and had worked with different culture of NGO and INGO. There policies and process maybe different but overall goal is the development in society through the Education, Agriculture or skill development. He uses the tools that is learnt from last 22 years and dedicated to work with 100 percent every day.

Rakesh Kumar

Lead - M&E


Rakesh holds a BS-MS Dual Degree in Mathematics from IISER Mohali (Batch MS07) and pursued research in Cryptology at ISI Kolkata. At CmF, he initially served as a Mathematics Resource Person and now leads the Monitoring & Evaluation portfolio for Education and Nutrition initiatives. Previously, he worked with the Azim Premji Foundation. His core expertise spans Monitoring, Evaluation & Documentation, Project Design & Proposal Development, and Mathematics Education.

Hemlata Rawat

Team Lead- Livelihood


Hemlata loves to work with vulnerable community and enabling to empower to women. She has specialization in Goatery and Gender. She has expertise in capacity building of community institutions, women empowerment, build to relationship with partners and other stakeholders, liaison with govt. department, team capacity building and support to field implementation, monitoring, budgeting, Prepare training module of various level in livelihood intervention like livestock based activity.

Chandra Shekhar Singh, Team Lead – WASH, specializes in sanitation and hygiene initiatives, driving impactful programs and promoting sustainable practices to improve community health and wellbeing.

Parikshit Singh Tomar
Team Lead - BCC & MHM

Started as a journalist with experience in leading print and electronic media; awarded “Best Writer” for a special series in Dainik Bhaskar (2009). Taught graduate and postgraduate students before moving into the development sector, implementing projects with the EU, UNDP-GEF, The Asia Foundation, Charity Water, HSBC, and others. Participated in global conferences, including “Lab for Change” (Mexico 2019), World Water Forum (Korea 2015), and a mediation study tour (Nepal 2017).

Sagar More
Team Lead - WASH

Sagar's overall experience in development sector has been for 12 years with specialization in WASH theme. He has strong skill of facilitator and trainer with developing modules and capacity building programs for variety of audiences. In the past have worked in themes such as Livelihood, Institution Building and WASH in different states. He says, "Innovative approach is the key motto of my life".

Amresh Kumar Sharma

Amresh is M. A. in Education and Sanskrit and B.Ed. having a Total Experience of more than 15 years. He was associated with renowned organization such as Azim Premji Foundation, Room to Read and Center for Education, Research & Practice fulfilling varied responsibilities as Program Assistant, Impact Assistant & Center Head of Skill Development Center. Earlier in CmF, he worked in Skill Development initiative in Sirohi district. Currently, he is the Team Lead – Education at Hindaun, Karauli

Laxmi Narayan Khateek
Team Lead - Education

Laxmi is currently leading a block-level team under education intervention in Todabhim, Karauli. Prior to joining CmF, he was associated with Room to Read organization and learn to pedagogical understanding. At CmF, he has been engaged in multiple components in Education i.e. Library, Literacy & Numeracy and ECCE.

Sourabh Parashar

Saurabh serves as Block-level Team Lead – Livelihoods at CmF, Kherwada. He holds an M.Sc. in ICT in Agriculture and Rural Development from DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. With over eight years of experience in the development sector, he previously worked with AKRSPI on strengthening Panchayati Raj Institutions in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. His interests include agricultural technologies, productivity enhancement, and developing value chain systems for underprivileged communities.

Priyanshu Chaudhary
Thematic Expert - Livelihoods

Priyanshu has started his career with TISS Mumbai and worked on the Women & Children Project to stop Violence against them by providing Psycho Legal Services, Counselling etc. He worked with the two states SRLM Haryana & Rajasthan and helped the community based institutions on sustainability by providing support on capacity building of cadres and on the Livelihood activities enhancement.

Abdul has more than 14 years of experience working in Literacy and Library components under education. Earlier, he had worked in Room to Read. He is a master trained for capacity building of govt. teachers, liaison work with education functionaries, provide onsite monitoring and support for improving literacy and library outcomes.

Azhar, having 20 years of profession career in development sector, started his career with Digantar as a Teacher. Then, he worked in Care India, Azim Premji Foundation, Bharti Foundation. His professional and technical skills are teacher training, module development, liaison with government functionaries, developing assessment tools, monitoring and onsite technical support, report writing, community mobilization etc.

Rukmani Saxena

Rukmani is based at Sikari block of Dausa under Livelihoods intervention. She is majorly engaged in capacity building of CLF, VO, SHGs and facilitates on leadership, self-sustainability, decision making, vision building, and social security. Earlier, she had been associated with Adonis (Onida), Navjivan Microfinance, Sangharsh Federation, Ibtada and Manjari Foundation.

Komal Pali is an adaptive and quick learner with strong observational, writing, and technical skills. A reflective practitioner, she has experience working with Eklavya Foundation in Bhopal and Saral Services in Bihar, demonstrating versatility, dedication, and the ability to contribute effectively in diverse professional settings.

Rakhi has experience of working in ECCE and FLN interventions. At CmF, she has been associated with ECE component and also supporting at RSCERT level for SCF-ECE development as a focus group member. She provides technical support on the training modules for Anganwadi Workers and Mentor Teachers on ECCE. Earlier, she had worked in Bodh Shiksha Samiti.
Birbal Ram

Birbal was earlier associated with CmF since Jan 2018 and worked as MIS coordinator Sakh Darpan & IB expert. At present he is an Executive under Livelihoods program at Kherwada. He has post-graduation Hindi from JNU Jodhpur. Overall, he has 8+ years of experience in development sector. He also worked under the MPOWER project for 4.9 years.

Sandeep Kumar Singh
Thematic Expert - Livelihoods
Sandeep began his career in 2011 at Bhoruka Charitable Trust as a Master Trainer (IWRM), taking on roles like Project Officer in Barmer’s MPoWeR, Project Coordinator for CHILDLINE-1098, and Eye Camps in Dungarpur. He led Food Fortification in Udaipur and TARA Akshar+ projects. At CmF, he focuses on WASH interventions in Bali & Pindwara, mastering DPR preparation, fluoride mitigation, technical surveys, and IoT-based DWS schemes.

Dhirendra has 9 years of experience while working at community-level under Water, Sanitation and Hygiene interventions and has good skills of liaison and advocacy with Govt. and PRIs. Earlier, he had worked with Parhit Samaj Seva Sansthan.

Mahaveer has qualification in Animal Husbandry sector and he puts is every effort to convert this interest and education into the community by increasing their livelihood and also his expertise to provide technical assistance in Goat Farming based programs, Buck Entrepreneurs and Marketing of Bucks and Goats.

Rakesh has been contributing under the the Rajasthan school library promotion project in which he is providing technical support for quality implementation of project and focusing on sustainability and scale of the work. Earlier, he has also worked under Nutrition initiatives within CmF. He is a good orator and singer and well-versed with the local contexts and culture of the state.

Manish is MBA in Finance with total experience of more than 12 years. He is anchoring – Accounts and Admin at CmF since 2016. Earlier, He was associated with Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN) and Marie stopes INDIA.
Pankaj Agarwal
Thematic Expert- WASH
Pankaj has 8 years of experience working with community institutions under water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) as a Social Mobilizer. He has positive attitude towards his work and co-workers. With good communication skills, he always creates an accommodative and active environment around him and always try to ensure to work out of his and his teammates comfort zone. Earlier, he had worked with PRADAN.

Gul Mohammed
Thematic Expert - Language
Gul currently works on remediation interventions with upper primary grades, collaborating closely with PEEOs and government teachers. He also leads the School Libraries initiative in Sirohi district. With extensive experience as a facilitator, he has strengthened teachers’ capacities and engaged elementary students through literacy and library programs. Previously, he contributed to impactful education initiatives with Room to Read, UNICEF (Tonk DIET), Azim Premji Foundation, and CEDES.
Vinod Kumar Jangid
Anchor - Accounts

Vinod has over 8 years of experience and has been with CmF since June 2017, managing accounts and financial operations. He holds an M.Com from UoR and has completed Tally ERP09 from Tally Academy, Delhi. His expertise includes budgeting, documentation, financial assessment, ROC and GST work. He also supports two producer companies under the Livelihoods theme. Previously, he worked with Saheli Samiti, Dausa as an Anchor–Accountant and Admin.

Naresh Kumar Rawal
Thematic Expert - Skills
Naresh brings 18 years of experience in the development sector. He holds an M.A. in Sanskrit, an MSW, and a B.Ed. degree. Before joining CmF in 2017, he contributed to Doosra Dashak, Educate Girls, and Ajeevika Bureau Trust. Skilled in career counseling and skilling, he currently leads work under the Skills component, empowering communities through education and livelihood initiatives.
