Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

Clean Water and Toilets for Everyone

Enabling fair and lasting access to safe drinking water and sanitation

In Rajasthan, many women spend over an hour fetching water for their families every day. Most people don’t use toilets because there’s not enough water to keep them clean. This causes diseases and malnutrition, especially in kids. CmF is helping by teaching communities about clean water and hygiene using local art. We’re also helping people get better water and sanitation, using smart tools to build water systems, working with the government, and teaching communities to manage their own water.

How We Help

1. Building Local Water Systems

  • Set up village systems for safe drinking water.

  • Use smart tools to save and manage water.

  • Train local groups to fix and maintain these systems.

2. Learning Through Art

  • Teach people to use toilets, wash hands, and keep water clean with art.

  • Help fix water problems like fluoride.

3. Empowering Communities

  • Get people working with local leaders (PRIs) to plan water projects.

  • Train communities to manage water systems.

  • Provide expert help to build and check water structures.

4. Supporting Women’s Health

  • Teach women and girls about menstrual hygiene.

  • Supply eco-friendly sanitary products.

  • Connect them to health services for support.

Our Impact So Far

  • Taught 242,000 people about clean water and hygiene.

  • Gave 120,000 people safe water and toilets.
